We’re thrilled to introduce you to Dr. Tim Twohig, the founding dentist of Twohig Family Dentistry. With over 50 years of experience, Dr. Twohig has become one of the most trusted dentists in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin – the very town where he grew up.
Dr. Twohig’s journey in dentistry began at the Marquette School of Dentistry, where he graduated in 1969. Following his education, he proudly served in the United States Air Force in Louisiana, bringing his skills to those who serve our country.
In 1971, Dr. Twohig made the heartwarming decision to return to his roots, beginning his dental career in his hometown of Fond du Lac. This homecoming marked the start of a professional journey that would span over five decades and touch the lives of countless patients in the community he knows and loves so well.
At Twohig Family Dentistry, we’re proud to say that “Generations serve Generations.” This isn’t just a catchy phrase – it’s the reality of our practice. Dr. Tim works alongside his daughter, Dr. Catherine Twohig McGalloway, combining his years of wisdom with her fresh perspective to provide top-notch dental care to families across generations.
When he’s not brightening smiles at the office, you’ll likely find Dr. Tim out on the golf course, working on his swing. Family is at the heart of everything he does. He’s blessed with a beautiful wife, Merrie, six children, 16 grandchildren, and as of this writing, one great grandchild! Talk about a full house of love and laughter!
One of Dr. Tim’s greatest strengths is his ability to put patients at ease. His years of experience have given him a gentle touch and a comforting presence that helps melt away dental anxieties. Don’t be surprised if you hear laughter coming from his exam room – Dr. Tim believes that a good chuckle is sometimes the best medicine.

Meet Dr. Catherine Twohig McGalloway
We’re excited for you to meet Dr. Catherine Twohig McGalloway, one of the partner dentists you’ll see here at Twohig Family Dentistry. Trust us, you’re going to love her!
Raised right here in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, Dr. McGalloway is as local as they come. She’s a proud graduate of St. Mary’s Springs High School (go Ledgers!) and cheered on the Badgers while completing her undergraduate work at UW-Madison. Her dental education then took her to the University of Iowa-College of Dentistry where she mastered the art of creating beautiful smiles and caring for people.
For over 25 years, Dr. McGalloway has been building relationships with patients who have now become friends.. But don’t let all that experience fool you – she’s just as excited about dentistry today as she was on day one! Dr. McGalloway has established herself as a trusted dental professional in the community. Her commitment to patient care and ongoing education ensures that she stays at the forefront of dental techniques and technologies.
When she’s not working her magic in the dental chair, Dr. McGalloway is all about family time. She’s a super mom to four awesome (adult) kids and recently joined the grandma club (and is loving every minute of it!). On her days off, you might spot her out on the golf course trying to perfect her swing, or planning her next fun family getaway.
Dr. McGalloway’s patients often say she has a knack for making dental visits feel more like catching up with an old friend. Her warm personality and gentle touch have a way of melting away those dental jitters.

Meet Dr. Grady Twohig
We’re excited to introduce you to Dr. Grady Twohig DDS, a dynamic member of our team at Twohig Family Dentistry. As a close cousin to Dr. Catherine Twohig McGalloway, Dr. Grady brings both family ties and fresh perspectives to our practice.
Growing up in Weyauwega, Wisconsin, Dr. Grady’s journey to dentistry was inspired by his father, a dentist who showed him early on how rewarding and enjoyable the profession could be. This early exposure sparked a strong desire in Grady to follow in his father’s footsteps, leading him to pursue his dental education at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry.
Dr. Grady is a cornerstone of the Twohig Family Dentistry community, bringing not only his exceptional dental skills but also a passion for cutting-edge technology. He’s always on the lookout for the latest advancements that can elevate patient care and keep our practice at the forefront of dental innovation.
One of Dr. Grady’s most significant contributions to our practice was championing the introduction of the CEREC machine. This revolutionary technology allows us to create custom crowns in-house in just a single visit, a process that traditionally took two weeks. It’s just one example of how Dr. Grady’s forward-thinking approach benefits our patients every day.
When he’s not transforming smiles or researching the next big thing in dentistry, Dr. Grady is a devoted father of two. You might spot him shuttling his kids to soccer practice or cruising around town in his unmistakable orange Jeep. During the winter months, that same Jeep can often be found parked near the local ski hill, as Dr. Grady loves to hit the slopes with his family.
Dr. Grady believes in showing his children the great things the world has to offer, constantly seeking out new adventures and experiences. This zest for life and learning doesn’t stop at home – he brings the same attitude into the office, keeping everyone motivated, excited, and up-to-date on the latest developments in dentistry.
